Silver Banksia Rescue Project

The Silver Banksia was once common in the Hughes Creek Catchment . Today only a few isolated populations survive. The GBCMA have initiated an ambitious project to re-introduce these banksias into our landscape. Two thousand silver banksias are grown each year by the Euroa Arboretum for HCCC landholders  to plant. These silver banksia are free and come with strong guards and stakes.

(20 to 50 plants per property )
